5. What do Stop Eviction stand for?
Here at Stop Eviction we we hope we can make a difference because we care. We know of the current market situation both financially in housing and banking and the growth in unemployment and redundancies. We hope that we can offer a service that will benefit the individuals where they are not left in the streets with no where to go. They are not put into sheltered accommodation or bed and breakfast. We hope that we can offer you a service which will benefit both us as a company for investment and yourself where you have that peace of mind that your debts are paid off1 and you have a place to stay (your own home) for 6 months free. The rest as to what happens is entirely up to you. We can offer you extended tenancy agreement for up to 3 years. Where at this point it can be continually renewed. Or we can give you that option to buy your house back from us at a significantly reduced market rate.

6. What product/service are Stop Eviction selling?
The service that we are selling is the 4 step solution, we assess your criteria by you filling out the 'Apply Online' application form. If successful we will buy your mortgage from you, we will pay off your personal debt1 and we will buy your property from you. We effectively become the owners of your property.

7. When should I contact Stop Eviction?
Please contact us at as soon as possible. Do not leave this too late, you are under no obligation to use our service once you fill in the 'Apply Online' application form. If you have left it too late we will endeavour to persuade the lender to let us intervene, however there is no guarantee that we will get a positive outcome if this is all left to the last minute. Our process, from you filling out the 'Apply Online' application form to us surveying the house and buying it will take between 7 to 28 days in total. So act now fill in the 'Apply Online' application form. If you are not in mortgage arrears but just have a huge personal debt1 that is unmanageable then please fill in the 'Apply Online' application form, we are more than happy to assit everyone regardless.

9. What is the 'Apply Online' application form?
The 'Apply Online' application form is a means where we can measure the value of your home against your debts1, take into consideration the area of your home, mortgage left to pay, personal debt1, condition of your property, personal situation, etc. This calculator has been specially written to work this out based on the information you give us. We can only advise that your enter the details to the best of your knowledge and then wait for an instant online decision.

10. What does it calculate and how does Stop Eviction work out who is accepted?
The calculator has a formula which we can not discussed as it might hinder the way that the 'Apply Online' application form is filled out. We do know that it takes all the information you have entered to give a very scientific result if you can be helped or not.

11. What happens once I fill in the 'Apply Online' application form?
Once you fill in the 'Apply Online' application form you will get one of 3 decisions, GREEN, AMBER or RED. This highlights the outcome of the decision. The Green status means that we can help you and based on the information you have given we can pay off your mortgage, your personal debt1 and buy your property. Amber status means that we can help you and based on the information you have given we can pay off your mortgage but we need to discuss paying off all your personal debt1 with a consultation and we can still buy your house from you. We will go through your finances and come to a agreement. Red status means that we cannot help you as you have not met the criteria.
Each of these 3 statuses are explained in full for each decision reached. The next step for status green and amber would be to enter a few more details and then we will contact you to arrange a consultation.

12. Am I bound by any agreements once I fill out the 'Apply Online' application form?
When you fill the application via the 'Apply Online' application form and have a instant online decision. (status: Red, Amber or Green) you are not bound to any agreements. We will arrange an appointment with yourselves and then discuss the requirements and what we can offer. At this point you still are not bound by an agreements and if you are not happy you free to walk away.

13. How do I find out the value of my house?
Please get in touch with your local estate agent to arrange a valuation of your home. This valuation should take into account the condition of your home and should be based on the current market value.

14. Please explain what status - GREEN is?
Status Green means that based on the information you have provided we are in a position to buy your property from you, pay off your mortgage and personal debt.1 Also we can offer you 6 months free stay in your home. You will also get the opportunity to buy your home back from us at a significantly reduced market value.2

Status Amber means that based on the information you have provided we are in a position to buy your property from you, pay off your mortgage however we will need to have a consultation where we can discuss your personal debt.1 We will allso offer you 6 months free stay in your home. 20. At what price will Stop Eviction buy my house for?
We will buy your house from you up to 85% of its current market value. This figure depends on your mortgage, your total personal debt1, any secured loans on the property and the condition of your house. As each house and scenario is is different we cannot give any specific details. All we can offer is a consultation where we can discuss this with you further and come to an agreement.

22. What happens if I do not agree to the price Stop Eviction are offering for my house?
If you are unhappy with the figure we are offering for your house then you are free to walk away or take some time to consider the options and get back to us within 14 days of the consultation.

23. Will Stop Eviction pay off my personal debt?1

Based on the information that you have given us from your application, if you have a status of green then we can pay off all your personal debt.1 If your status is amber we will need to have a consultation on paying off personal debt1 and come to some agreement. This does not effect your 6 months rent free stay at your property.

24. What happens if the information I have given is incorrect?
If the information that you have provided us is incorrect then your application will be void. We will not be taking your application any further.

25. Will Stop Eviction allow me to stay in my own property after the sale?
Stop Eviction does NOT operate a SELL AND RENT BACK scheme. Therefore once you have sold your home to us we will expect you to move out.

You will pay the current market value.

Yes we are different in many ways. We do not want you to re-mortgage as that will put you in further debt1. We want to buy your house, pay off your mortgage and and personal debt1 so you are debt1 free. No companies offer to pay your personal debt.1 We are different because we care about you.

Please use the contact us page to send us any questions and once you have filled in the 'Apply Online' application form we will send you an email with our phone number. You can contact us via email 24hrs a day 7 days a week. The phone number will be answered from 9am to 7pm 5 days a week. If you ring outside the times you can leave a voice message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

32. Can I at anytime cancel or end our agreement?
You can end our agreement so long as we have not exchanged contracts. If we have exchanged contracts then you will be responsible to pay all our legal costs as well as your.

33. Do I have to move out of the house once Stop Eviction buys it from me?
You do have to move out. Our whole process is very discreet and this agreement will be be between us and no one needs to know.

When you agree a purchase price of your property you can be in a better position knowing that you have some breathing space and that no one is chasing you for late or missed payments.

1 Stop Eviction WILL NOT 'negotiate with the creditor or owner, on behalf of the debtor or hirer, terms for the discharge of a debt, or taking over, in return for payments by the debtor or hirer, his obligation to discharge a debt, or any similar activity concerned with the liquidation of a debt', in relation to debts due under consumer credit agreements or consumer hire agreements. Stop Eviction WILL NOT participate, conduct or offer advice on debt-counselling (defined as) 'the giving of advice to debtors or hirers about the liquidation of debts due under consumer credit agreements or consumer hire agreements'. We will need to do a valuation on your property and then have a consultation with yourselves. Subject to the outcome of this consultation we will do our best to come to a purchase price agreement so that you have surplus cash to pay off your personal debt.
Stop Eviction is not regulated by the FSA, as we do not operate a 'Sell and Rent Back' agreement with the seller.
